Our new addition....

David and I have a new addition to our family due to the cruelty of someone out there.... yesterday I came home from work to find a severly matted half starved kitty on my doorstep. This poor little creature had been dumped on our street so this moring I took him tothe vet and had him checked out and cleaned up. unfortunately, they had to shave his long beautiful hair because it was so matted, but he feels so much better. When his hair grows back out it will be about 3" long and he will look a lot like my Merlyn. You can't tell from the picture but he has beautiful pale blue eyes just like the love of my life.

Meet Alistar Blue.....

I'll post more pictures of him in a few months, when he's less naked.

He's adorable and has found a great home. Congratulations on the new addition. Sometimes surprises like that are the best.

He's beautiful!

We found our cat much the same way. She was malnourished and heavily pregnant when she wandered up to my flatmate in a park one day.

This was before I had moved in. We had discussed getting a cat, I suggested two so that they might keep each other company.

This cat, a black and white, was just so affectionate and sweet, my flatmate had to keep her (though she did ask around the neighbourhood, and even put up ads in local listings - no one ever claimed her). We named her Persephone - she came home to us in the spring.

She ended up giving birth to four kittens. We kept the runt, who we named Galahad, and gave the rest to good homes. We now have two perfectly adorable kitties to cuddle.

Foundlings are the best pets - they choose you. I'm sure Alistair Blue is going to love living with you!

I can't wait to see Alistair Blue with his natural hair...

Crystal- Hey sis! It is purrfect for him. He almost got named Crystalbel because we didn't know if he was a boy or girl his fur was so matted.

Mason- Thanks. We plan to spoil him!

SM- That is awesome you took in the pregnant kitty! What a great story.

Alex - I know. People do that around here all the time, it's infuriating!
